Today's update...
First, I don't necessary plan to update every single day, but I probably will update either daily or every other day just to keep myself accountable to me and you the reader.
To those who have sent comments to me here on this blog, as well as, Facebook and Twitter...THANKS! I appreciate it. Through this process if I can inspire at least one person to do what I am doing and plan to accomplish, then this process is totally worth the effort.
Today was my second day of cleansing and it was a bit tough in the afternoon. My energy level plummeted after going most of the day with no food. So I had a small bowl of Quinoa that Debbie made along with a protein shake and took a short rest on the couch. Within about 40 minutes I felt great and went to the gym for my Lower Body/Ab workout which was short (About 25 minutes). After the workout I felt so great.
Many times when I felt so tired I forced myself to the gym only to have one of my best workouts. Today was one of those days. So the lesson is, get to the gym or do your workout at home - no matter what! You will feel amazing when you do!
Also today I began to consume Kangen Water. I have been learning a ton lately about Alkalized water and the numerous health benefits associated with this water. Basically what Kangen Water does is convert our bodies from Acidity to a neutral PH balance state (alkalinity). This type of water is totally amazing and I recommend that you learn about it. I'll be posting more info here over the coming days along with some links. Let me know if you are interested by commenting below.
Finally, this morning on the scale I was down by 3 pounds from yesterday...so at 227! Nice start!
For dinner I had a very small piece of fish, a tiny bit of steamed veges and a very tiny amount of salad and water. My plate looked like I was like 4 years old! But it actually felt great to eat such a little amount of food. Now it is bedtime (11:30pm) and I'm goint to take a PM cleanse pill and my lemon juice cleanse drink.
Feelin great after two days...but a ways to go!
Cheers,
Gery
